Mike Golic Arrested

Beloved Football Anaylst, and host of ESPN's "Mike and Mike in The Morning" was arrested on Saturday, while partying at his alma mater Notre Dame. Now, I am all for going back to your home school (in my case Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Go MUSTANGS!), but I mean c'mon, act your age.



Here's what the police had to say: nearly 40 people arrested on misdemeanor alcohol charges early Sunday at a South Bend home, following Notre Dame's 23-7 loss to Michigan State (fuckers), including some members of the Notre Dame lacrosse team (uh-oh). So Mike, please set a better example for your son. I mean, he's a freshman at Notre Dame, and...hold on...it was Golic's son, Mike Golic, Jr. who was arrested. Oh that makes more sense.

That Happened?!

Major League Baseball opened it's season this week, as the Oakland Athletics and Boston Red Sox played a two game series. Barflys in Oakland were excited to find that their favorite watering holes were opening at 3am to watch the game, because they played in JAPAN! The season open in Japan? This game is no longer America's Pastime. We are tired of hearing that label to baseball. Football is the most popular sport in America in every facet (ratings, money, popularity), so stop shoving this idea down our throats. You are opening your season in Japan, because you need money. You suck. Fuck you baseball. But go Angels.

On a related note, John Mayer, yes the John Mayer, made a hilarious video about this game, and the hook is he's an announcer who has never seen baseball before. Kind of how we feel.
