That Happened?!

Major League Baseball opened it's season this week, as the Oakland Athletics and Boston Red Sox played a two game series. Barflys in Oakland were excited to find that their favorite watering holes were opening at 3am to watch the game, because they played in JAPAN! The season open in Japan? This game is no longer America's Pastime. We are tired of hearing that label to baseball. Football is the most popular sport in America in every facet (ratings, money, popularity), so stop shoving this idea down our throats. You are opening your season in Japan, because you need money. You suck. Fuck you baseball. But go Angels.

On a related note, John Mayer, yes the John Mayer, made a hilarious video about this game, and the hook is he's an announcer who has never seen baseball before. Kind of how we feel.
